Saskia Bassett

Solicitor

Saskia advises on all aspects of family law, including divorce, financial remedies and private law children matters. She has a particular interest in matters concerning children and is committed to helping clients navigate family disputes with clarity and confidence.

Saskia graduated from Durham University with a degree in Criminology before completing her PGDL at BPP University and her LPC at the University of Law. She completed her training contract at Stevens & Bolton LLP and qualified as a solicitor in September 2026.

Alongside her studies, Saskia volunteered as a Triage Volunteer at Greater Manchester Law Centre, helping vulnerable and at-risk members of the public access legal advice and support.

Saskia joined Jones Nickolds in September 2026.
